Book this Tour Fira Museum & Ia Approximate Duration: 4 hours
Fira, Santorini Arriving at Fira you will walk a few feet along the narrow cobblestone streets to the Archaeological Museum. The Museum of "Prehistoric Thera" as it is called, houses artifacts from various excavations from all over the island but especially from the excavations at Akrotiri such as the famous wall paintings. Also, noteworthy among the numerous exhibits from the period when the city of Akrotiri was at its zenith, are the plaster casts of furniture, the household equipment, the bronze vessels, tools and weapons. The exhibition endeavors to sketch the course of Thira in prehistoric times, through selected finds. Your tour will then take you to the picturesque village of Oia. Once a major fishing harbor, it is now the calmest place on the island. Built high up on the ridge of red rocks, it offers breathtaking views of the blue Aegean. You will then take a stroll around the narrow streets among the old beautiful houses and the tiny picturesque shops.

Santorini, Winery Situated on top of an impressive cliff, Oia offers an unrivaled spectacular view over the Aegean. This traditional village with charming houses and quaint narrow streets, blue domed churches, and sun-bathed verandas, houses plenty of shops, taverns and cafes. Many artists have fallen in love with this idyllic setting and their presence is obvious in the many art galleries. After arriving in the village, you leave your coach for a stroll around the narrow streets with the old beautiful houses and the tiny picturesque shops. Your next stop will be at one of the island's wineries where you'll taste some of the best wines in Santorini, renowned for their quality.

Leaving the port of Athinios, you'll head to the picturesque town of Oia. Built high up on the ridge of red rocks, it offers breathtaking views of the blue Aegean and the caldera below. Take a stroll around the narrow streets as you'll have free time to visit the art galleries, antique shops and perhaps enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the coffee and pastry shops.

Pyrgos, Santorini After your tender drops you off at the port of Athinios, you'll drive to Pyrgos village, one of the oldest settlements and the highest village on the island. Admire the beautiful old houses and the Venetian fortress, crowned by several churches. From Pyrgos Square the road runs uphill to the Monastery of the Prophet Elijah, the highest point of the island. From where, the views out over the caldera are majestic. Leaving Pyrgos you head to the northern end of Santorini to the village of Oia, which offers magnificent views of the caldera and the rest of the other islands. With its cobblestone streets, beautiful old mansions and houses perched on the cliffside, you'll realize why the traditional Cycladic architecture is so well known. Here you'll have free time to stroll around the narrow streets with the old beautiful houses and the tiny picturesque shops. Then, leave the village of Oia and make your way to a local winery for a tour of the wine chambers and distilleries.. A buffet-style lunch will be served at the winery and during your meal you'll have the opportunity to enjoy and experience a typical Greek fiesta dancing to 'Zorba the Greek' and breaking plates while the bouzouki plays its solo. After lunch, you'll continue through the beautiful countryside to Fira town, the picturesque capital of the island built on the rim of the caldera wall. Enjoy the town at leisure before returning to your ship.

Book this Tour Volcano Hiking Approximate Duration: 2,5 hours
Nea Kameni Volcano, Santorini Board your local boat (caique) from the old port of Santorini for a 15-minute trip up to Nea Kameni. En route, admire the volcanic shores with the peculiar shape formations of the black volcanic rocks and the white pumice. After disembarking, a 30-minute hike takes you to the crater of the still active volcano. During your walk up on an ascending path you'll have the opportunity to observe the lava fragments and the volcanic rock formations. Once you have reached the crater you'll have time to relax and enjoy the view of Santorini Island and the amazing cliff of the caldera. Then you start your descent back to the boat. Finally you'll sail towards the thermal springs of Palea Kameni, and pass by the green sulfur warm waters with temperatures that reach 37 C (98 F).

This tour ends at the old port.

Note: There is no shade on the volcano and you should wear appropriate sun protection.
A minimum number of 35 participants is required in order for the tour to operate.
